Sr. Curriculum Developer
As a curriculum developer, I am responsible for the communication of instructional content between subject matter experts, graphic artist, and hardware and software engineers. This job allows for me to utilize both instructional design and instructional development skills.
Instructional Trainer
As an instructional trainer, I was responsible for coordinating and conducting professional development for administrators, faculty and staff. Depending on the availability of time, resources and personnel, a full and thorough analysis, design and evaluation was conducted. However, most training situations did not offer these luxuries and the training was altered to adjust to the situation.
My instructional style and knowledge of learning theories is key to creating instructional environments that maximize opportunities for learning and information recall.
Instructional Graduate Assistant
As a GA at Mississippi State University, I was responsible for instructing and assessing undergraduate students and pre-service teachers in Microcomputers in Education. This involved the creation of lesson plans, student activities and assessment tools geared towards achieving course goals and objectives.
I used various strategies and tools such as lectures, project based learning, problem based learning, course management systems, multimedia and hypermedia to assist students in goal and objective mastery.
