Procedure:
The instructor will brief the learners on the issue offiltering and blocking internet access in K12 schools. Using the Big6 model,students will independently generate a solution to the problem and present their findings to the class.
Assessment:
Student will complete the reference worksheet provided.

Procedure:
The instructor will brief the students on five criteriafor evaluating web pages. Studentswill be directed to choose a basic subject to research. Students will be given20-35 minutes to independently search for 3 content related Web pages specificto their chosen subject.
After the allotted time has expired, the teacher willconduct a group discussion:
What subject did you select and what search engine(s) didyou use to search the subject?
Was this search engine the best choice?
How could you tell if the person was qualified to writeon this topic?
